This 1950's sterling silver and dyed blue sodalite necklace and earrings set from Taxco, Mexico. Simply a stunning set which features pretty pendants at the front of the necklace that have a flower design and are centered with dyed blue sodalite. The necklace closes with a slide in clasp and the earrings are screwbacks. Hallmark: FS 925 Mexico Eagle(3) Size: Necklace wearable: 16" with the longest pendant hanging down 3 1/4"; Earrings: 1 5/16 across; Grams for the set: 83 Condition: Excellent vintage - I have only lightly buffed, you may wish to polish more - the sodalite, which is originally a white stone, is dyed blue and each stone varies in color from light to dark with some stones showing the original white sodalite through - sodalite also tends to have surface fissures which you can see in some of the stones which are all stable - the clasp is unique and fits only one way, I will send the necklace clasped so you can see how it works.
