Vintage Signed AR Early 1940s Mexican Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace and Bracelet and Earrings Set with Black Onyx and Abalone. Both the necklace and the bracelet have simple hook & eye closures. Size: The necklace is approximately 18" length x 1/2"w. The necklace has 10 links connected with O rings which enable this necklace to conform to laying flat on the neck. The bottom pendant measures approximately 1.5"h x 2 1/8"w.The bracelet is approximately 6.5" length x 0.5"w. The earrings are approximately 1"h x 1/2"w. The set is in good condition: As some owners are very strict regarding maintenance of the gorgeous patina, any cleaning will be left to the new owner. There is a chip in the abalone on the necklace in the third link up from the pendant on the left side.
The bracelet has one link with a crack in the abalone. One of the earrings has a repair in the ablone inlay. Hand made, hand crafted, this is a beautiful example of the design artistry and silversmith work from Mexico in the early 1940s.
